Our Loving Heavenly Father
Full of grace
Full of mercy
Full of compassion
You desire that we trust your Son
And receive eternal life.
Your Son has ascended to give us confidence
Your Spirit gives us life
And you grant that we may come to you.
Strengthen our faith.
Enable us to keep on believing
Taking confidence that you have chosen us for your glory.

Our Father
We have eaten the bread of betrayal and lifted our heel against you.
We have stood at the fire and denied that we ever knew Jesus.
Forgive us
Strengthen us
Restore us.
May we receive the ones you have sent
May we receive your Son
May we receive you.
May we never again betray you.
Keep us from the night.

God at Work - Ephesians 1:3-14

Our God and Father

You have blessed us,

Chosen us,

Predestined us for adoption.

You have redeemed us,

And forgiven us,

Lavished your grace on us,

And united us with Christ.

You have granted us an eternal inheritance,

And sealed us with your Holy Spirit

To the praise of your glory…

Hope in Suffering

Father,

You are at work for our good.

You are transforming us to be like your son our brother.

You seek that we are done with rebellion and wickedness and sin;

But these hold tenaciously to our hearts;

And our souls are turned away from you.

Do the work of suffering in us.

May our love for you be our all consuming passion.

May your purpose be our desire.

May your calling be our hope.

May our predestination be our security.

May our justification be our awe;

And our glorification be our vision.

Do the work of suffering in us.
